In South Africa, majority of the working-class population are on their feet and thus over 90 percent will suffer from some sort of foot problem in their lives.

Humans tend to forget that most of their time in a day involves being on their feet, paying less attention to their feet than they deserve and therefore believing that is it normal to suffer from foot pain.

Do these excuses sound familiar:

“I’m on them the whole day, what do you expect?”
“I’m breaking the shoes in”
“My knee’s and lower back are killing me”
“I cannot walk for long periods without experiencing foot pain”
“I wake up with severe pain on my heels”

If you are guilty of frequently making these kinds of excuses, don’t ignore your body trying to warn you about something being wrong regarding your feet. Remember that persistent pain should not be an everyday occurrence.

The good news is that it’s never too late to start looking after your feet, we can provide you with professional advice and treatment.
